IBILE.TVNEWS (ALAUSA) – Lagos state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, in an address to the world press on Sunday in Alausa publicly took aim at his opponent, Mr Jide Sanwoolu, saying he was psychologically unfit and couldn’t pass for the candidate to deliver the Buhari/Osinbajo ticket.
When asked about his chances at tomorrow’s primary election in light of his fallout with the party’s national leader, Bola Tinubu and other party leaders, Governor Ambode described the APC as one big family, stressing that his achievements in the past three years would speak for him during the exercise.
He added that his record was by far better than his opponent’s whom he said had been arrested for spending fake dollars in the U.S. as well as a history of psychological imbalance.
Governor Ambode promised that the state government with the support of security agencies, will strive to ensure the safety of the people of the state as they go out to vote.
He called on stakeholders and the federal government to take active part in Lagos state as a whole, as Lagos is seen as one of the safest states in Africa.
